With clients both large and small, our approach remains the same: we listen, learn and adapt. Through client interaction and contribution, we make IT work. We can put together a design incorporating software, data and infrastructure, to ensure that all aspects work together in the most efficient way.
We don't manage IT change to improve your IT - we manage IT change to improve the whole organisation.
Mark has spent his entire working life in different aspects of IT. Much of that has been devoted to bespoke business management software and database development. More recently, it has extended into the design and implementation of commercial websites.
For some years he has been active in local business networking, including having served as branch treasurer for the Tees Valley branch of the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses). He is currently one of the longest-serving members of Tees Valley Business Club.
Away from the keyboard, Mark devotes a considerable amount of his spare time as a volunteer in medical scenarios:
Any time he has left is devoted to relearning the piano skills he first started learning as a child, and to gazing at the universe through his telescope.

Harry may not have a vast amount of experience in IT being young, however he is very enthusiastic and wanting to learn new skills. Having recently finished college after passing A-Level Computer Science and Maths, Harry's aim was to become a commercial airline pilot. This goal has been dampened by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic which has forced many out of a job, pilots being no exception which has reduced the demand for new pilots.
He's focussed on developing his IT skills at 1600 Systems, and gaining further experience in web development.
For the past six years, Harry has been learning to fly towards his private pilots licence (PPL) in a Cessna 152 aircraft. He also enjoys road cycling, having completed a charity ride in 2015 where he raised close to £2,000 for two different charities. Not only did the charities appreciate the support and money raised, but it was a memorable experience for Harry. Cycling isn't his only mode of transport, as he passed both his car and motorbike licence at 17 years old and enjoys regular road trips, particularly around Europe.
All things Sparky: IT can be boring and it can be hard to market a programming and development company, so we decided to have fun and introduce a mascot to show the gentle side of our personalities. Therefore, we would like to introduce our mascot, her name is “SPARKY”. We will be introducing her to our business contacts over time and hopefully you will get a balance of who we are, as well as what we do as a business.
In the photo, Sparky is accompanied by her friend Monty. He still has all his stuffing, so he's the full Monty!
